My main research area is survival analysis. I am interested in developing appropriate statistical methodology for analyzing complicated multivariate survival data in which dependent censoring or dependent truncation may occur. I have proposed nonparametric methods to estimate the bivariate survical function and also developed semi-parametric inference methodology, including model selection and estimation of the association parameter, based on copula models. My recent interests in this area include analysis of clustered survival data, survival data in the presencce of cure, and also recurrent events data.
